ABOUT THE OWNER
Starting my yoga journey 19 years ago was a way to bring more balance into my life. As a wife and mother of 2 boys, busy raising a family with all the activities and stresses that go along with parenting, I found yoga. Initially it was a way to relieve my chronic back pain and strengthen my body to avoid further injuries caused by high impact activities. Through yoga, I found that it also helped me calm my mind and increase my mental acuity.
After experiencing such positive personal results, I decided to share my experience with others. My training began in August 2012, with the Live Love Teach Yoga instructor training, in which, I completed my 200-hour certification. In 2015 I continued training and received my 500-hour yoga instructor certificate through Free Life People and The Yoga Project School of Yoga. In September of 2017 I was privileged to travel to Thailand and assist with a Yoga Instructor certification training with the Yoga Project School of Yoga. I enjoy attending continuing education training and seminars, and feel that constant learning improves my own practice, as well as helps my clients achieve their best yoga practice.
Half Moon Yoga offers Heated Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga in a beautiful studio located behind a private residence. Studio offers All Levels classes and Workshops.
On occasion we will have guest instructors in our studio.
